Super Easy Breakfast Casserole

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

Just something quick, and since its what we had for dinner, I'll do share it with you while its fresh in my mind.  No pictures though, its really not that pretty.  It IS however, really tastey :)

What you need:

1 16oz package of Sausage, Halved(I use Sage)
1 12oz package of biscuits
4 eggs(or 1 egg per person)
2C Country Gravy(white gravy)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Cook Sausage, drain and set aside.

Break and scramble eggs in a seperate bowl, set aside.

Preheat oven to 375*(I know on these type of biscuits, it says cook them on 400-425*, but you'll burn the eggs AND have hard parts of biscuits, gross).  Spray a casserole dish with pam and place 9 of the biscuits in the bottom of the dish.  Top with the cooked sausage, egg and bake 8min.

Poor the gravy over the top and bake an additional 8min.

Turn off the over and top w/ the cheese.  Keep it in the oven until the cheese is melted.

Enjoy!

My picky eaters eat 2 helpings of this at a time.  If you have a larger family, use the entire package of sausage, increase the biscuits to 18 and an egg for each person eating.  Use your discretion on the cheese, we like a lot of cheese :)
